No. An adult having sex with a minor is illegal, a minor having sex with an adult is not. Only the adult is committing a crime there.
The laws are there to protect the minor.
The whole reason we have the laws is that the minor may not be mature enough to make a good decision. Adults are supposed to be mature enough to make the right decision and leave the minor alone.
This is like saying it is a woman’s fault she was raped because she wore an alluring dress. A minor is just that, a minor. An adult is in a position of power over a child and can generally manipulate a child fairly easily. Think of the pedophile who lures a small child away to help look for a lost puppy. Same concept slightly different tactics in the case of a statutory rapist.
God help the statutory rapist who put their hands on any of my children. They better hope the cops get them and not me or my husband. Parents have gotten wise to these perverted cretins and are now making sure they get prosecuted.

They aren’t minors - they are adults dressed up to look like children.
The supposed minors in To Catch A. Predator are not minors. They are adults playing minors.
Minors are not capable of giving conscent to having sex with these perverts. It is the adult pervert that should know better are are the ones being punished.
