How can I keep an eye on what she does online?

My little sister is starting to get to that age where she likes getting on Myspace and talking all the time on yahoo. Now I went through that stage but the whole internet predator thing was not so big, now with cyber-bulling and pethofiles (sp?) roaming the internet like no other I can’t help but to worry about her well being. I recently saw a video on the teenage girl who commited suicide over the horrible comments and I was shocked, but I also saw at the end of the video some usefull links to some sites that offer programs to regulate what she is doing online. Now my questions are: Does anybody know what these sites are? Are the trustworthy? Do they work? And am I really destroying her privacy?

Are you a guardian over your sister or something? If not, then you just need to talk to your parents about it. It’s not your job to regulate what she is doing on the internet and you’re overstepping your boundaries with her. Unless you are currently responsible for her well being, then I wouldn’t do anything. It will cause problems in your relationship with her. However, if you are her guardian (or talk to your parents about getting it), then you should look into a keystroke recording program. They have some that are hidden and they can’t tell the program is running. You have to use hot keys to even pull it up. It’s invisible.
