Have you all on yahoo answers noticed all the pics that these kids are putting up with the question of Am I cute?. These are children that are begging to be hunted by online sexual predators. I have seen all of these comercials on the TV about parents protect your children. How many of you out there think that the age limit for this site should be raised so that kids cannot post photos on here?

I personally think its stupid for anyone to post the pics on here no matter how old you are. Its not just kids that are preyed upon. Who cares if a billion people think you are cute or if your baby is cute! If you think so.. thats all that matters!

I agree with you there, but how would they validate ages for photo submissions?

As a 14-year-old, all out bans would be pretty annoying; people can lie about their age easily enough, anyway. I think that there should just be a little reminder somewhere about it.

Still, a picture isn’t the biggest thing ever. If whoever doesn’t give out any personal information, they should be fine.

they will unfortunatly just find some other site, but I would be concerned if I were their parent, this site I know has alot of weirdos that use fake profiles.

Where’s the concern coming from? With sites like facebook, myspace, etc.

There are multitudes of avenues for people to put these pics out there.

It doesn’t take a village or a society to raise a kid, it takes a committed parent(s).

That may be a good idea, something like Yahoo,Jr. They probably live with people who don’t pay them any mind that’s why they’re on here in the first place trying to get answers or advice. But that goes to show that our society has these kids thinking they have to be cute in order to be special.

I believe some people are so foolish that they are posting pictures of others I refuse to believe anyone could be so foolish

Raising the age limit for Answers is not going to solve the problem of predators.
In Indiana you could serve more time in prison than a sexual predator if you were caught driving on a suspended license.
We need to lock these people away for the rest of their lives.

I had not thought of that but you are right. Some of these girls (and some boys) seem to need reassurance so bad that they could easily become a victim of a predator.
Raising the age limit on here woul not work as they would lie about their age like they do on My Space.
My grandson has lied about his age on My Space and I reported him a year ago and they never did a thing about it

Yes I am concerned very much so. I agree the age limit should be raised, or yahoo should just say no photos to be posted on this site? There should be someone protecting these kids that’s for sure. I can’t even believe they do this when they must know about all these mongrel predators out there especially these days?

Even if the age limit was raised, it wouldn’t stop kids from coming on here. There’s 12 year olds and younger all over the place.
